Nancy Boyd

I am an experienced educator, counselor, and mental health provider dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of children and families. My career began in South Carolina, where I worked as a Special Education Teacher and later as a School Counselor, serving students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.

Throughout my career, I’ve remained passionate about helping students bridge learning gaps, develop resilience, and reach their fullest potential through compassionate, evidence-based support.

Currently, I own and operate Next STEP Social Communication, LLC, where I provide in-home mental health and social communication support to minors in collaboration with local agencies. In this role, I design and implement individualized interventions that build coping skills, strengthen social-emotional development, and promote family stability.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College, a Master of Education from South Carolina State University, and a Master of Divinity from Regent University, along with additional graduate coursework at The Citadel. I also completed doctoral coursework as a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Mississippi.
