Myah Williams
Home Services / Social Care
Services offered
I actively listen with empathy to understand the challenges individuals are facing. My goal is to help them process their experiences and navigate their emotions. I strive to find common ground or explore differing perspectives, as both can foster meaningful conversations. Drawing from my education and professional training, I provide thoughtful feedback and guidance tailored to each individual’s needs.
Experience
During my master’s program in clinical social work, I completed a practicum with Child Protective Services (CPS) in Athens, Georgia. This experience was pivotal in my professional development, particularly through my active participation in court proceedings. Observing these sessions, even during academic breaks, provided me with profound insights into the legal aspects of child welfare. This exposure enhanced my abilities in professional writing, public speaking, and courtroom demeanor, skills essential for effective advocacy in social work.
