As an ECFMG-certified international physician with hands-on clinical experience in and extensive research training in the U.S., I bring a unique blend of medical knowledge and operational insight to the clinical research field. My postdoctoral training through the NIH-funded T32 fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh focused on postoperative outcomes and care transitions among vulnerable populations. I’ve since served as a Research Associate managing complex trials involving geriatric ICU survivors, overseeing patient recruitment, regulatory documentation, and protocol adherence.

My cross-disciplinary background equips me to bridge communication between clinical teams, patients, and research stakeholders effectively. With strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of ethical and regulatory frameworks, I am well-positioned to succeed in a Clinical Operations Specialist role—helping ensure trials run smoothly, efficiently, and with patient-centered focus.

I am an ECFMG-certified Sudanese-American physician who completed my medical education and clinical training in Sudan.
