Human Resource Management 

• Oversees human resource programs, including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Manage funding distribution of approximately 300 faculty/staff across the  AMC funds portion of their salary. 
• Prepare, maintain, and adjust salary distribution for faculty and staff using payroll expense transfers, and time collection for biweekly and monthly payroll, and served as the payroll liaison.

Financial Management 

• Provide financial oversight, controls, procedures, and practices for the development, implementation, and management of operational budgets, grants and contracts, endowments, and philanthropic gifts consistent with internal and external compliance and in support of the department’s mission
• Fiscal responsibility and management of all funds, including state, federal, auxiliary, gift, and grant funds.
• Develop solutions to improve current business processes and make them more efficient. Establish and maintain effective internal control for finance, human resources, and grant administration. Recognize and seize opportunities to improve the fiscal and operational performance of the department. 
• Manages the financial aspects of operations and staffing, and other short-and long-term planning functions.

Grant Management 

• Provide functional direction and assistance to the institute's leadership and staff in order to have access to the necessary financial data required to make the appropriate decisions for all budget needs.
• Work closely with the Office of Grants and Contracts to reconcile and close out each sponsored project account
