I am a personal certified caregiver, primarily hired by families directly but, willing to work in a facility. I have 10 + years (combined) of experience in caring for individuals with various levels of need from minor assistance to full ADL's. I hold 2 certificates in dementia care and have experience with Parkinson"s. As a caregiver, I am first and foremost, my clients advocate. I am my client's “right hand man”, and their communicator between family and medical staff. I am competent in all ADL's. I provide more than assistance but, companionship, a willingness to listen. I ensure safety of my clients environment as well as activity to keep their mind and body stimulated. I am more than a caregiver, I am a friend. I take my work very seriously as I believe our elderly are our most precious and deserve the utmost in care, respect, and dignity. I love helping and I love what I do, and I believe it all starts with Integrity.

Experience

My professional experience includes 1 year at a memory care facility, 5 years at  nursing homes ,and multiple years at various homes for individuals asking for help with their loved one.

Education

I am a certified care giver, I hold 2 certificates in dementia training. My education has been hands on and I came into this role filling a much-needed void and because I love it so dearly, have continued to go where I'm needed. 

I am not a CNA or a nurse. I am a caregiver. And I am very good at what I do, because to me it's not work; to me , it's giving back.
