Mitch Miller

I enjoy volunteering while traveling. From WWOOF-ing in South Africa to planting trees in a reforestation community in India. I am a visual artist and an athlete. My favorite activity is open-water swimming. I also lead kayaking tours in the SF Bay with City Kayak. Additionally, I am a performer and work with multiple arts and entertainment companies in San Francisco.

I am proud to have worked for Habitat Horticulture, a company that designs, installs, and maintains living walls for some of the most prestigious companies in the world. I managed 65+ accounts including: Slack, The California Academy of Sciences, Paramount Group, Credit Karma, 1 Hotel, Four Seasons, Allbirds, SmithGroup, Merck, and OpenAI. I apply my passion for horticulture, design, and interpersonal communication in my daily work. I managed a team of 7 dedicated horticulturists. I really enjoyed this aspect of my job.

I graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Environmental Studies. I studied abroad in Panama, focusing my independent research Ecology and Evolution. I worked for two years at the University of Pittsburgh’s greenhouse where I was integrally involved in high profile plant research projects.
