About Milynda Boeck-Moore:
I'm Milynda and I currently working as a Billing and Claims Analyst for Healthcare Resource Group in Spokane Valley, WA, working with hospital and clinic claims to help ensure payment from insurance companies. We work to help our clients (many being smaller rural clinics and hospitals) by helping to keep the lights on and their facilities thriving. I have over ten years of experience working in customer service and banking environments, and I have strong skills in word processing, databases, data analysis, spreadsheets, and leadership. I am a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication Design and User Experience certificate, along with a Communications minor. While attending EWU I have grown my skills with programs such as Figma, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
I have served as an advisor, for Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as being a specialist for our New Chapters and Colonies, where I help manage and ensure the women of the organization are completing their goals and upholding the standards of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. I’m currently the new chapter president for the Seattle Alumnae chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma, and part of the Seattle Alumnae Panhellenic group, where we strive to assist the sorority women at the University of Washington and raise money through an annual Bunco Night event to provide assistance to scholarships winners. For three consecutive years, I was the fundraising chair where my responsibilities included setting up our Bunco Night, procuring items to be raffled, catering and bartenders. While at the helm of the chair, we were able to raise over $10,000 in the span of three years and were able to provide more funds to scholarship recipients.
My background includes working over 6 years in customer service for Bank of America Merchant Services, in which two of these years were spent as a Supervisor. During this time I was handed several responsibilities that included the creation of procedures, facilitated training for new projects and new hires, and monitoring incoming call queues to keep optimal staffing. Through the position, I found my leadership skills grew stronger, and I became more confident in myself.
Experience
With my extensive experience in customer service and banking environments, combined with my leadership skills and ongoing education in visual communication design, I believe I would be a valuable asset to your team. Currently, I work as a Billing and Claims Analyst for Healthcare Resource Group, where I specialize in ensuring payment from insurance companies for hospital and clinic claims. Our focus is on assisting smaller rural clinics and hospitals, helping them thrive by securing the necessary funds to keep their facilities operational. Through this role, I have developed excellent skills in word processing, databases, data analysis, spreadsheets, and leadership.
During my six-year tenure at Bank of America Merchant Services, including two years as a Supervisor, I developed strong leadership skills. I created procedures, conducted training for new projects and hires, and efficiently managed incoming call queues to ensure optimal staffing. This experience allowed me to further strengthen my leadership abilities and gain confidence in my capabilities. Beyond my professional and academic background, I have been actively involved in various leadership roles. As an advisor for Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority at the University of Pittsburgh, I provided guidance to members and managed the goals and standards of the organization. Currently, I serve as the president of the Seattle Alumnae chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma, where I work alongside the Seattle Alumnae Panhellenic group to support sorority women at the University of Washington. Our annual Bunco Night event, which I have organized for three consecutive years as the fundraising chair, has successfully raised over $10,000 for scholarship recipients.
Education
My pursuit of a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication Design and User Experience certificate at Eastern Washington University has equipped me with the necessary skills to excel in this role. Throughout my tenure at Eastern Washington University, I have honed my skills with various design programs such as Figma, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript. These tools have allowed me to create visually captivating designs and develop a deep understanding of user experience principles. My creative flair and technical proficiency will enable me to contribute to your company's graphic design efforts effectively.
