About Mike Sandoval:
With over three decades of operational leadership—from warehouse floors to multi-site management across Texas, Ohio, and Mexico—I’ve built a career rooted in precision, resilience, and results. Most recently, as Operations Manager at DFG Solutions, I’ve led initiatives that streamlined inventory systems, improved vendor relations, and elevated safety standards—all while driving cost reductions and team performance. My journey began at 18 as a warehouse associate, and that ground-level experience continues to inform how I lead: hands-on, strategic, and deeply attuned to the people behind the process. Whether negotiating union agreements, implementing SAP across facilities, or consolidating seven warehouses into one, I’ve consistently delivered measurable impact—like increasing revenue from $22M to $51M and boosting pretax margins from 2% to 21%. I’m now seeking a role in the Commercial Trades or Automotive sector where I can bring this operational rigor and people-first leadership to a team that values both innovation and accountability. I’d welcome the opportunity to contribute to your organization’s goals and continue growing alongside a company committed to excellence.
Experience
In my current role as Operations Manager in the Commercial Trade Sector (Shipyard/Refinery), I’ve led significant improvements in daily operations—boosting productivity, reducing costs, and elevating customer satisfaction. Prior to this, I spent over 30 years in senior management roles across warehouse and operations environments, overseeing teams and facilities along the Texas–Mexico border and in parts of Ohio. My journey began at age 18 as a warehouse associate, driven by a personal commitment to understand every role from the ground up. That hands-on experience shaped my leadership style and informed my ability to manage both small and large-scale operations. Throughout my career, I’ve successfully led complex, cross-functional projects while maintaining company objectives and fostering strong, positive relationships with associates. I’m now seeking a position in the Commercial Trades or Automotive industry where I can apply my experience, continue to grow, and contribute meaningfully to organizational goals.
