About Miguel Aguasvivas:

My Name Is Miguel Aguasvivas, I Am 17 Years Old, 6'2-6'3 And A New College Student Located At BMCC (Borough Manhattan Community College), And My Major Is Studio Arts.

I Have Been Having A Hard Time Reaching Out When It Came To Finding Part Time Internships, And Regular Jobs Until I Came Across A Internship Application Found From Google, And The Description Of What The Internship Caught My Interest Because Based On One Of The Qualifications, It Stated That  “We are seeking interns who are driven and have a genuine interest in contributing to the success of the New York and New Jersey region”.

 Coming Back To Saying How This Internship Caught My Interest, This Caught My Interest Because I Am A Proud New York Citizen That Was Born And Raised In The Uptown City Area Of New York City. I Am Looking Forward To Having This Internship Because Connecting To It Back To The Qualification Bullet Point, I Would Like To Be A Great Contributor In New York City, And Managing The Security Program At New York's Airports.

Summer Camp Teacher’s Assistant  - Summer 2022 and 2023

  • Provided guided support and education help to ~50 students ages 10-14 at the camp.
  • Coordinated and managed weekly team building field trips (~20) for students.
  • Supervised daily physical education activities for students. 

 

SYEP CareerReady WLG Program - Catholic Charities - New York, New York 

Program Participant - Dec 2022 - Apr 2023

  • Determined how a PortalGo tablet could be helpful when used in job in communities.
  • Tested out tablet by using it with family and community members and provided user feedback.
  • Completed presentation on user experience to SYEP office.

I Graduated High School On Time In June 2023 In Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School (WHEELS).

Then On August 2023, I Began My College Career With 3 Classes (2 Core Classes: Math 161.5 Literacy Quant Reasoning, And ENG 100.5 Intensive English Composition), And My Major Class (Art 166 Drawing Studio 1)

I Will Graduate In May 2025).
