Ever since I could hold a pen as a little girl, I’ve lived to express myself in any modality I could find or be inspired. My mom was and is oil painter, ceramicist and Art Teacher so making was like breathing. I was one of the lucky ones that was encouraged express our own unique voice. Going to art school at Laguna College of Art & Design was one of the greatest learning experiences of my life. I am so grateful for my teaching mentors and tight-knit community: a tiny school in the canyon that taught us more than art. It was more like grad school because the teachers really knew you. There were only 60 kids in the entire illustration department you’d be with for four years. They would teach you all the foundations and then push you into your own style— and stretch you beyond what you thought you were capable of (only a great teacher could do).

With my experiences of having such an incredible art education, mentors and mother as an art teacher, teaching art came naturally to me. I would spend the next decade teaching in private schools such as Sinai Akiba academy to K-8, Santa Monica Synagogue, Brentwood Art Center to K-8, and now private lessons in my home studio to middle schoolers in Santa Monica, CA. It brings such joy to my life to use intuition as a practicing artist myself to help guide younger budding artists to grow and learn in a positive way. I’ve always wanted a career where I could work for a company that was on a mission to impact the world with deep change. I feel passionately that this and my various work experiences attribute to my flexibility and problem solving abilities for a personal assistant role in any setting.

Beyond that, I am also grateful for all of my business administration and online merchandising/buying and doing an little bit of everything as a personal assistant to Adam Bernhard for hautelook.com where I helped start from the ground up when it was Liquid8 before it was sold to Nordstrom.com. I learned how to run a corporate gift company through assisting Heidi Wasserman the CEO of Wasserman Unlimited who had clients such as Disney, Fox, Pepperdine, Oxy, Princess Cruises and more. Here we created custom gifts for the network show staff to the opening of a Disney movie. In essence, I am a hard worker driven to maintain life with ease, purpose and impact. From a project’s start to finish, I am extremely organized, resourceful, flexible, creative and value positive encouragement and inclusivity with individual artistic expression. I am motivated to work for a company such as yours that appreciates my work and support as much as I value working for them.
