Education / Training
About Michelle McClanan:
I’m a STEM educator and former project coordinator who thrives at the intersection of learning, technology, and process improvement. With over six years of experience teaching biology, forensics, and mathematics, I’ve designed engaging, data-informed learning experiences that make complex ideas accessible and measurable for diverse learners.
Before entering education, I managed regulated testing projects in a plastics testing laboratory, coordinating timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication across engineering, compliance, and client teams around the world. That experience taught me how to lead projects with precision, clarity, and collaboration, skills I continue to apply in every implementation or learning initiative I lead.
Now, with an M.Ed. in Instructional Design & Educational Technology, I’m channeling that combined expertise into roles that bridge learning design, customer implementation, and agile project management. I’m passionate about creating scalable, inclusive learning solutions and supporting teams through thoughtful, well-documented implementation processes.
I’m especially drawn to mission-driven organizations in animal care, forensics, healthcare, and education technology, spaces where learning, empathy, and innovation meet real-world impact.
