Michaela Kverková

I am an interior and landscape designer with a strong background in architecture, space planning, and project management. With five years of professional experience across residential and commercial environments, I have developed expertise in creating functional, aesthetic, and sustainable spaces that enhance the well-being of users.

My career journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the Czech Technical University, followed by a Master’s in Interior Design from Illinois State University. Professionally, I have worked as a Junior Architect in Europe, a Landscape Architecture Intern on large-scale projects, and most recently as a Graphic Designer and Researcher at Illinois State University. In 2025, I established my own interior design practice, where I lead projects from concept development to final furnishing.

My skills span 2D and 3D modeling, architectural visualization, branding, and sales strategies. Creativity, detail orientation, and clear communication guide my work, while my international background allows me to bring a unique perspective to every project. I am passionate about designing environments that combine aesthetics with functionality and aim to deliver spaces that fully reflect client needs and expectations.

I am an interior and landscape designer with international experience in residential, commercial, and research environments. I began my career as a Junior Architect at MeetPlace (CZ), where I worked on architectural development, AutoCAD and Revit modeling, and coordinated external teams and digital platforms. I later gained hands-on design and research experience as a Landscape Architecture Intern at Trevisan Studio, contributing to large-scale projects through plant research, space planning, and concept development.

In the U.S., I worked as a Graphic Designer & Researcher at Illinois State University, creating digital assets, web applications, and social media templates while supporting day-to-day research. In 2025, I launched my own practice, Michaela Interior Design, where I lead residential interior projects from concept to furnishing and decoration.

My expertise bridges space planning, 2D/3D modeling, project management, and branding, making me adaptable across multiple design disciplines.

I completed her Master’s in Interior Design at Illinois State University (2023–2024), where I deepened her expertise in interior architecture, design research, and visualization. My studies focused on user-centered design approaches, blending creativity with technical skills in 2D/3D modeling, rendering, and project development.
