I am a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) with over 30 years of nursing experience. I have been in several education and clinical roles in my nursing career. I currently work in a provider role as a CNS managing the care of cardiothoracic surgery patients with my collaborating surgeons.  I enjoy teaching and also currently teach 2 different Hemodynamic and Pharmacology courses in our Cardiac Level classes for new and experienced nurses. I truly enjoy watching new nurses grow and succeed and knowing I  played a part in their career. 

I think I would be an excellent fit for your Faculty position based on my experience and knowledge. I have very good assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. I interact daily with a variety of departments and individuals. I have performed student evaluations in the past as a clinical instructor. I know how to hold people responsible but also understand that students need encouragement and constructive feedback to improve. I would love the opportunity to share my years of nursing knowledge and skills with your students.
