Melina Limon

Hi my name is Melina Limon and im currently enrolled in Los Alamitos High School and the dance program along with taking dance classes outside of school. I love to travel, snowboard, and go to the beach with my friends in my free time.

• Volunteering at rossmoor and weaver elementary school fall carnivals (October-November 2023)
  • As a volunteer I work at different stations such as bean bag toss, candy decorating, putting temporary tattoos on children, organizing tickets, or helping out the adults in setting up the booths
• Volunteer, Kids Dancing Clinic at Los Alamitos High School (November 2023)
  • Taught choreography and formations to elementary school children to then be performed in front of an audience at the beginning of one of the dance shows
  • 3 days a week, one week, hour and a half 

Senior in High School. 

• Pre-College at Brown University in Rhode Island, Summer 2023
  • Critical thinking about human behavior: a 2-week college-level class about the fundamentals of phobias, mental disorders, and unique psychological experiments. Lecture-based and involved class with readings for homework, essays, and a final presentation.
• Pre-College at Emory University Georgia, Summer 2024
  • Child development Science: a 2-week college-level class about the stages of development within the mentalities of children and when they start to pertain to certain essentials in our minds critical to learning in our lives.
