Meghan Burton

My name is Meghan and I am eager to find the right opportunity to show off my skills. I have supervisor experience in Warehouse fulfillment centers, Logistic and Quality Control manager experience, as well as DoD Military Housing project experience. I take great pride in my work history and look forward to the next amazing place to show off my skills.

My professional experience may look to you as all over the board, but I see it as experience in many different areas. I have much pride in Quality Control and Project Manager in Contruction on Department of Defense for Military Housing projects. My experience here is where I learned how to work alongside military families and providing them a safe and securely built home. I spent a lot of time working with contractors and ensuring they met project specific scope of work and found myself writing specifications for each project. 

I have experience working as a firefighter and EMT. This is where I learned how important first responders are to the community and how important is is to work as team. I found the Fire Service has more to offer than a job itself. It not only taught me patient survival or teamwork, it taught me how to prepare for the worst and how to any handle situation calmly and collectively. 

As a Logistics Manager, I worked for The Fire Academy where I learned how to use my skills as a space planner and organized the entire department. Here I offered my skills to organize the Gear Room and the training grounds and ensure equipment was cleaned and in its place for the following seasons. 

One last experience I would like to include is working as a Senior Supervisor for the Digi-key Electronics Warehouse. Here I learned how to work with all walks of life and ensure my team was the best. I really got excited about the people i worked alongside of and spent my days assisting with order fulfillment throughout the shift. I started here as an associate and soon became a supervisor.
