Mechelle Conrad

I have over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field from bedside nursing, home health, dialysis nurse, nurse manager, ICU and PCU experience. I also have experience in health insurance and prior authorizations. I have experience across the board that I can bring to the table to maximize the positive outcomes any company and patient need. I have a passion to serve and a heart to please. I am an eager learner, and I do not mind hard work. 

1992 State tested STNA, then 2001 became an MST = multi skilled technician.  For a short time, I obtained and held a license to sell insurance and learned about insurance and prior authorizations. Then went to nursing school and graduated in December 2012 and in February 2013 became a registered nurse. From there, I have worked in Skilled facilities, Rehab centers, as floor nurse and then supervisor, then unit manager standing in for the DON. Worked in hemodialysis at Kidney Care Center. I worked in ICU in Cambridge for 4 years and transferred to Genesis Hospital working in a step-down unit from ICU to PCU.  I have a bit of experience across the board. 

Associates Degree in Nursing, ACLS certified, BLS certified, and infection control certified.
