Maureen Hobbs

My name is Ms. Hobbs, and I absolutely love being a PE teacher. I have a deep passion for creating and developing excellent relationships with my students and peers. My classes are known to include silliness, laughter, creativity, and mindfulness to complement moderate to vigorous physical activities. I work hard to create lessons that are engaging, meaningful, and fun. I have high behavioral expectations and strong pedagogical skills.  

I have been a physical education teacher for eight years. My career began in Denver where I taught for three years at two different middle schools. In Fort Collins, I was a substitute teacher for almost one year before I started my current job at Loveland Classical School. This is my fourth year with LCS, and I love my job very much.

Prior to teaching, I was a fitness instructor for five years.
