I am Matthew Murrin. I am an artist, an art teacher, and a course lead. I specialize in developing engaging curriculum and developing strong bonds with students. I also maintain my own art practice and continue to develop my own skills as an artist.
Experience
I have worked in education since 2015. I began my journey in education in special education working as an instructional aide while I worked to get my credential in Art. After finishing my student teaching I taught Art and Publications at Los Amigos HS for 1 year 2020-2021, following my year at Los Amigos I taught at Lawndale HS for 2 years.
Education
I currently hold a bachelors degree in Art Education and my single subject sredential in Art.
