Medical Assistant Extern 250 hrs
- Talking vital signs, rooming patients, performing EKGs, reviewing medications with patients, and assisting with patient discharge instructions. Preparing and maintaining patient room
- Call patients to confirm their appointment, answer phone calls, restocking supplies, batching paperwork, scheduling patients’ appointments and rescheduling, scanning papers into patient charts, assisting with patient check-in and check-out.
- Cleaning and sterilizing rooms and my desk, conducting patient follow up calls, coordinating with other medical assistants for help, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
