Mary Abbadusky

I am deeply passionate about making others feel valued and seen. My experience shadowing a CNA at Methodist Hospital on the rehabilitation floor, has strengthened my commitment to improving the lives of others and increased my need for providing compassionate care to others. I am dedicated to allowing patients to have a positive environment because it fuels me as an individual! I am a fully licensed certified nursing assistant with a strong foundation in patient care including vital signs monitoring, personal hygiene, and mobility support. I am strong in speaking with others so not only would my communication with the team be helpful but with families and patients as well. I am able to adapt to new environments fairly quickly while maintaining calm. I would say I am naturally empathetic and have a talent in making others feel at ease.

I’ve been working in customer service for 3 years at Juice Stop. During these 3 years it prepared and taught me a variety of skills. For example, communication and collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow, listening to others needs to make their experience better, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and training others. I’ve gotten multiple raises, hence I’ve gone up $8 to my hourly pay since I started working there. 

I graduated high school with a high GPA at Millard West High School. I completed my first year of college at University of Nebraska Omaha, and am going on to my second year of college! I am majoring in healthcare field because I have a deep passion of helping others!
