I'm Martekah Young, but you can call me Dahkyarts, the friendly artist behind the creative journey. For the past 5 years, I've been dedicated to the wonderful world of freelance artistry, and I'm excited about the opportunity to bring your artistic visions to life.

My portfolio is a tapestry of styles and themes, showcasing my versatility as an artist. From logo designs to whimsical children's illustrations, character creations that leap off the page, and webcomics that tell captivating stories - I've had the privilege of working on it all.

Experience

My professional experience consists of working as: Logo Designer, Children's Illustrator, Character Designer, and Comic Artist/Webcomic Artist. As well as an intern and activity assistant to Arts in Medicine and Health and Arts at The Clinic.

Education

Graduated from Freedom High School in 2014 earning my High School Diploma, Hillsborough Community College in 2016 earning an A.A. in Fine Arts, and the University of South Florida in 2018 earning a B.A. in Studio Arts and Certificate in Art History.
