I'm a skilled, passionate, and hard working Software Engineer with a strong educational background (project based learning, Salutatorian) and a strong enterprise background. I was a Java web developer at Workday for over 4 years. I have tens of thousands of hours of React.js/Node.js experience under my belt from my time working at Berliner startups, and I have 6 months of Next.js experience from my time at Qunomedical.

The gaps in my employment are due to taking time off to study the Japanese language as a hobby. My most recent gap is due to complications/delays moving back to the states. It didn't make sense to find a new job in Germany knowing that I would move back to the US several months later. I’m a US citizen.

I left Qunomedical at the end of my trial period because the company didn't value improving the existing code and didn't want to hire more developers. There was a ton of code duplication. They were also not upfront with me about their use of TailwindCSS, which is a deal-breaker for me because of its bad developer experience.

I was a UI Engineer at Workday for 4.5 years, where I worked with Java and web technologies. Took a break to study Japanese as a hobby. Worked as a React developer for Berliner startups (deineStudienfinanzierung and Qunomedical), during which time I was promoted to Senior and Tech Lead positions. I'm very skilled, detail oriented, and love to do code reviews for team members.

I have a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Neumont University. I also have a Masters of Science in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley.
