I have had the privilege of working with the Idaho National Guard for over 20 years, initially starting in the accounting department for a decade. Following that, I transitioned to overseeing the Defense Travel System and managing the government travel charge card program. Additionally, I have been involved in various finance-related tasks. Over the years, my tenure has granted me access to different programs that enable me to support various departments within the organization.

Overseas over 3000 people in the Defense Travel system with my Organizatio.Responsible for setting up correct lines of accounting for payment government funds. Perform a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative work. 
Analyzes procedures and techniques to validate Defense Travel System transactions. Performs various accounting, budget, and financial report related duties.
Implement and manages the day-to-day activities during system operations, personal data, reports, and review business process. 
Responsible for training for accountable officials. 
Performs program oversight of all travel charge card accounts for the Idaho Army, National Guard, and ensure policies and procedures are implemented and followed. Analyzes and reviews individual charge card activity to identify potential abuse. Provides document, briefs, and reports to appropriate level of command.

Perform maintenance on accounts chargeable to state, including cancellations and transfers. Queries databases to obtain report download information and create customize. Reports also serves as a primary point of contact for debt management for the travel card program. Collects, reviews, request relief, and coordinate sensitive issues with the vendor and cardholder, supervisors.
Stay up-to-date with government travel charge card, regulations and policies.
Responsible for establishing, administering, maintaining and reporting to the National Guard Bureau.
 

I have completed Financial management level, one certification and financial management level two. Which is required by our organization.
