Marcela Fernandes

My name is Marcela Fernandes, and I am currently a Digital Arts and Sciences major at UF. I am a pursuing a career as UX/UI designer to work with teams and help combine programming and the aesthetics part of technology. I want to make mobile apps, websites and be part of a team that updates features and interface for apps and websites. I am planning on using the knowledge I gain from my major to work with small and large business accomplish their goals. Every day, media and the digital arts world keeps growing and I have a good perception for the aesthetics required in the field. I am looking forward to seeking further education through a computer science degree which will improve my ability in the programming side of apps and websites. I make illustrations of landscapes and people through photoshop and make logos through Illustrator. I designed logos requested by the Liquid propulsion club at UF. I plan to expand my experiences and help more local small business by volunteering with my skill set. I can bring successful designs that is conscious of the market to achieve business growth.

I do not have much professional experience. I have helped some family friends with their small businesses. I also have worked with a club at my school to help them with design. 

I have a certification in Photoshop. I am also  currently majoring in Digital Arts and Sciences at UF.
