Mara Anton

Hello! I am currently an undergraduate student at Oregon State University studying Food Science and Technology with an emphasis on Enology and Viticulture. I am passionate about making food more accessible to the world, as well as ensuring food safety across the board. I am also passionate about wine and winemaking, and post-grad I hope to go on to become a winemaker. My past experience includes sensory work, laboratory work, and food service. 

• I've worked in numerous food service jobs where safe handling of food, ensuring a positive customer experience, and managing a POS/register were important aspects of the job.
• I've worked in a sensory lab, which involved a serving aspect with special modifications due to the scientific nature of the laboratory.
• I've worked in a laboratory setting, where precision, timeliness, and attention to detail were of crucial importance. 

• Currently an undergraduate student at Oregon State University, anticipated graduation Spring 2027
  • Majoring in Food Science and Technology, Minoring in Horticulture and Chemistry
• Graduated from Belvidere North High School in May 2023 with High Honors
