Matthews International / Saueressig Packaging  - March 2019 - September 2022 - Senior Graphics Specialist

Trained in Vreden Germany at their Innovation Center for a Senior Graphics Specialist position to assist with their Global Help Desk and training for their Color Management Software to support North America printers.

Also worked as Customer Support for N. Amerca printers to coordinate cylinder orders from receiving, scheduling, shipping and billing and the overall customer contact.

Southern Graphic Systems - May 2005 - May 2018 - Design Manager

Manager of packaging graphics art team that designs and produces unique print materials, 3-D concept mock ups, displays, photography, advertisements, brochures and logo designs.

Facilitated project deliverables and coordinated production of design projects under tight time constraints.  Assemble and review information for design project direction.  Meticulously follow corporate brand guidelines to enable brand consistency across campaigns and marketing programs.  Manage design schedule to ensure all work is being completed to meet time requirements. Travel and attend press approvals for customer sign off of printed materials.  Responsible for estimates and billing of all projects.

RJ Reynolds Packaging Center - February 1992 - May 2005 - Design Artist/Design Manager

Design Artist hired to convert board art graphics into the first digital art graphics in the industry on a Macintosh. Developed digital packaging art for RJR, Planters, Hanes, Yoplait, Coffee and Confectionary Industry and other clients.  Promoted to Design Manager in 2003.  Managed 5 designers in the development of packaging art, photography, Illustration designs and 3-D comps.  Attended Brand and Project Management meetings.  Coordinated projects from design, marketing and legal approval through the printed material for customer.

Guilford Technical Community College, Greensboro, NC - Associate Degree in Commercial Art and Advertising Design, 1990
