About Malik Ahmed:

Over 25 years in technology management. My roles span from managing, consulting, solution design and architecture sales, project management and technical support. Handled different scale projects and managed and work with teams with focus in big data and analytics.

Experience

I have handled full responsibilities as a sole contributor in the ground for Tango Telecom (acquired by CSGI) in which I have managed to extend its presence in more than 43 projects with the Telecommunications industry only. I have then joined Intersec group sensing the need to embed data analytics into the BSS/OSS solutions, but after one year I decided to establish a big data focused venture with my partner. 

IDT has established strong relationship with Vertica to carry business development activities in the Middle East and Africa. With such strong relationship, Vertica is now running in one of the world large organization and also at the premise of many other clients such as Telecom operators.

Education

I have a post graduate diploma in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Khartoum in 1995.

I have many related certification such as Vertica Sales, Vertica Essential and Vertica Essentials Expert certification that is required to partner and resell the products and services
