Experience
As a senior at SJSU, I worked with two non-profits that focused on providing educational resources to low-income students in Santa Clara County. At Health 4 Humanity, my main duty was organizing two workshops for seniors in high-school to prepare them for college. Since it was my first time coordinating a project from start to finish, my position required extensive research to determine the necessary tools the students would need to succeed and also researching companies for funding. At San Jose Strong, I mentored students and it allowed me to practice my client communication skills, as many of my students had difficult home lives due to struggling finances and documentation status.
