About Luigi Herve:

FRENCH PASTRY CHEF OVER 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. WORKS WITH PIERRE GAGNAIRE AND OTHER MICHELIN STAR RESTAURANT IN SPAIN. 

Experience

I took up baking at the early age of 15, graduating from CPA (Centre de formation D’ Apprentis) in France with certification rankings in Pastry, Bakery, Chocolatier and sweet Confectionery.  At the end of my apprenticeship, I was offered a position at Akelarre, a two Star Michelin Restaurant in Spain, where I was able to master my baking skills.  Eventually, I had the opportunity to work in Sketch Restaurant with world-renowned Chef Pierre Gagnaire in London, UK.

At age of 24, I ventured United States, to work with formerly Chef Yannick Cam from Le Paradou in Washington, DC.  I'm currently established in Kafe Leopold known for outstanding Austrian & European cuisine.


 

Education

June 2004: Obtained Professional Baccalauréat Option Pastry Making (BAC PRO).

June 2002: Obtained Certificate of Professional Capacity in Bakery (CAP).

June 2001: Obtained Certificate of Professional Capacity in Pastry Making (CAP).
