My 10-year experience as a Lead LVN coordinator has prepared me for the position that I have been wanting to obtain. And fortunately, the opportunity has been set forth for an LVN. I have been a leader withing my department and direct support for Case Managers, Chief of Perinatology, providers, staff and patients. Also growing up in a military household- I have been taught from a early age how to lead and follow, execute orders correctly, follow directions, able to multitask and communicate effectively. I worked in the West Covina Family med clinic for 2 years as a floor nurse, 10 years as a Lead Lvn Coordinator for Obstetrics & Gynecology/ Perinatology. Working directly with lead Perinatologist, RN Case managers, state genetics coordinators, and sonographers, maintaining patient constant rotation of about 300 patients. Informing patients of the testing process and explaining test results. Ordering supplies in a timely manner monthly and maintaining correct. Inventory. Ordering correct test orders based on guidelines and protocols for the state of California and staying withing scope of practice as an LVN.
