- Lead engineer and technical project manager for PBS network operations and linear broadcast, including video playout, video processing, monitoring, security, disaster recovery, encoding, and transmission to over 350 PBS member stations
- Implemented a $3M multi-generational upgrade of PBS linear playout infrastructure, overseeing project planning, system integration, transition, and documentation for six national HD feeds with minimal disturbance to station signal delivery

- Station lead for the following areas: Cisco switch configuration, virtual server creation and maintenance, KVM installation and operation, network storage and backup, edit bay configuration, PC imaging, PC and Mac desktop support and ticket management, news production software, IT security, employee onboarding and account maintenance using Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows updates for broadcast systems, weather systems, traffic systems, IP cameras, video over bonded cell, camera automation, weather radar, and audio (automation, wireless, board config)

- Designed, installed, tested, and operated a mobile broadcast studio out of a remote location for emergency hurricane coverage
- Transitioned the weather and traffic departments from the studio to the newsroom, upgraded all weather PCs, overcame many technical challenges to install a new KVM system to move all machines to the rack room for remote access, and configured Max Reality software, all without impacting daily broadcast operations.
- Spec’d hardware and software for marketing edit PCs, worked with HP to bring down the hardware price, worked with software vendors to bring in all requested software significantly under budget, installed and configured all software (including EVO RAID via iSCSI integration).
- Configured new Cisco POE switches for use in news studio renovation
- Led the effort to document and automate many common IT practices including software installation and config, PC post-image procedures, and mobile phone setup

- Lead engineer for the following areas: audio console and automation, radio frequency coordination, intercom, weather systems, traffic systems, camera control, robotic pedestals, control room monitoring, tally systems, on air keyers and squeezeback, closed captioning, backup control room, satellite dish control, and election systems
- Engineering lead on the automation of control room audio, creating technical solutions and training operators using processes and materials I developed
- Seamlessly integrated all weather and traffic operations, while upgrading traffic hardware and maximizing the utility of existing weather systems
- Installed, analyzed, and operated NewsTicker election software, acting as local technical lead for the division’s proof of concept team
- Responsible for audio, P/L, and intercom (via fiber) setup and transmission for 2012 presidential inauguration newscast from the room of the Newseum
