In my 30+ years in the Insurance Industry, I have mastered my investigation skills from the assignment of a newly reported claim to its settlement or trial, and attended Mediation as a means to settle.  I have referred to SIU if fraud was involved, and I have referred to Subrogation when there was the opportunity for recovery.  I have successfully handled a pending of 800 to 1000 Subrogation files, along with filing Inter-Company Arbitration when appropriate.  The opportunity with each Company has allowed me growth in handling claims in other States.  It has also allowed me to be available to work on several CAT Teams.  This knowledge is invaluable when you are helping people who have lost everything.  I am a professional, educated individual, but I am also empathetic and compassionate.  One of my strongest assets is building relationships with those involved in my assigned claims and co-workers.  

I trained with Citizens/Pacesetters Claims Service out of Jacksonville, Florida, for the Litigation Specialist.  The most relevant education from this assignment was the litigation computer program Acuity.  This was the system for all legal documentation, correspondence and contact with defense counsel.  I received Corporate Representative training in order to be a witness at trial for the Company and preparing and participating in depositions.
