o Assisted Dr. Manathunga in collecting historical data on zero-coupon bonds, pandemics, and COVID-19 from US federal reserve and other external sources
o Developed a stochastic logistic growth model by fitting pandemic data into a Weibull distribution and selecting parameters using R and statistical methods
o Predicted the probability of a pandemic occurring, bond trigger events, and number of infections and deaths during a pandemic

o Generated 5000 sample paths of interest rates using Hull-White short rate model to calculate the price of zero-coupon bonds o Drafted a research paper to provide transparent pricing mechanisms to potential investors by demonstrating the implementation of statistical models
