Hello! I am looking to move my career back into the world of Data and Business Intelligence Analysis. I have almost five years of experience in a data analyst role working with IBM Cognos. I'm currently working my way through the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate in order to gain more experience with some other programs and refresh my knowledge of SQL a bit. The majority of my experience is working with and presenting scientific data, but I am a fast learner who loves to pick up new skills.

• Created and reformatted multiple excel spreadsheets to help engineers and technicians calculate flow rates and electrical loads.
• Managed an average of 30 utility projects at a time and oversaw each project throughout its life cycle.
• Acted as lead QA/QC reviewer for upgrading the electric distribution infrastructure in Boulder.

Student Researcher

University of Nevada, Las Vegas: February 2017 - March 2019

• Used spectral signatures obtained from space based remote sensing instruments (Landsat and ASTER images) to map mineral assemblages.
• Investigated the use of remote survey images to model background radiation and exposure rates resulting from local geology.
• Updated existing geographical information survey maps (GIS) using digitized quadrangle maps.

Data Analyst

Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner: October 2014 - June 2019

• Authored reports in IBM Cognos for release to media outlets and specialty investigation boards.
• Compiled and disseminated data on opiate related fatalities in Southern Nevada to the Department of Homeland Security and the Drug Enforcement Agency.
• Worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to facilitate standardization of the Medical Examiner/Coroner Death Investigation Data Set.
