Lila Suchsland

I am in my Junior year at Western Washington university. I am also in my major and am pursuing manufacturing engineering. 
I hope to gain more valuable experience and skills this year through classes and an internship this summer. 

I have done a variety of different jobs to grow my experiences and skills. This includes engineering work where I learned about different machine processes and worked with a team in an Engineering internship. I have also worked in and assembly line, utilizing heavy machinery, relying on and helping those around me, and moving heavy packages at United Parcel Service. In addition, I have worked in retail service, assisting customers, working as a team with fellow employees, and completing tasks asked of me on the floor.

I am currently a Junior at Western Washington University. The most recent classes that I have taken are Introduction to CAM and CNC, Introduction to Plastics Materials and Processes, and Electronics to Engineering. This current quarter I am taking Design for Manufacturing, Numerical Methods, Quality Improvement, and Machine Design. 
 

I am very pleased with the classes that I have gotten to take because I have learned very valuable information and important skills. My classes have given me significant hands-on experience through the classes’ labs.
