 Bigger than a diagnosis or number on the scale, I believe I can empower others to have the confidence in pursuing healthy changes.  The way you expect dietitians to act as nutrition partners on a client's transformational journey speaks to the same outcome I would radiate to work in unison to motivate, counsel, and empower.

Consouseled new patient, follow-up patients, and bariatric patients in individualized nutrition plans. Worked in collaboration with bariatric surgeons and nurse practioner.

WIC- Fleming Island/ Bear Run 

August 2023-December 2023

Learned the importance of the WIC program for communities and assisted/self lead nutrition education counseling. Became familiar with WIC foods, risk codes, ADIME notes, PES statements, and counseling skills. Conducted WIC participants counseling, education, and follow-ups.
