Leslia Deleon

Graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. Currently looking to expand my knowledge and opportunities to better my career as a Public Health Specialist. 

I have a total of five years experience in Healthcare and currently going on three years at the Health Department. Right now, I gather statistical report data from the National Center for Health Statistics and the CDC. I then distribute the information to Healthcare facilities and get responses from them to send them back to NCHS and the CDC. I also do regular check ups with Funeral Homes and Hospitals regarding system training. I use my Public Health knowledge to incorporate in trainings for internal and external partners in any presentations that I give to make it educational and give a clear background of why it is extremely important that they report true and accurate data. 

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from the University of Central Oklahoma and an Associate's Degree in Spanish from Oklahoma City Community College.
