About Lela Meekins:
I was in the military for 18 years as a Munitions Systems Journeyman and Military Police from April 2001 to December 2018. During my last 5 years in, I was the Protocol NCOIC and the Events and Ceremonies NCO of the National Capitol Region. I started in the Education field in January 2019. I have worked with every age group, starting with daycare all the way to 12th grade. My focus for the last year has been predominantly special needs.
I have a BS in Culinary Art Management and am currently pursuing my MEd in Special Education.
