Lauren Tannenbaum

I am a writer and copyeditor with over ten years of experience. I am passionate about helping people share their ideas as effectively as possible, and am highly skilled at creating engaging copy. I believe in clear and compassionate communication, and am an excellent problem solver. In my spare time, I love educating myself on medicinal plants and trees, singing, and traveling with my loved ones. 

I have been working as a freelance writer and editor for over a decade. I started with a publishing house in New York editing full-length novels, and since then have edited learning manuals, technical documents for an air quality consulting firm, books, and creative projects. I have written copy for marketing companies, independent businesses, various blogs, and numerous social media campaigns. I have extensive experience writing content in the form of blog posts and articles for prominent companies such as Guitar.com, The LA Girl, and HUM Nutrition. 

I graduated with a BA in English/Comparative Literature from Occidental College.
