Experience

Lauren Smith is a professional graphic designer with extensive experience. He founded a design agency in Palo Alto, California, and managed and mentored a full creative staff. His clients include Visa, Apple Computer, Hewlett-Packard, PayPal, Cisco, Intel, SanDisk, Dow Jones, and many other prominent brands. 

He is an accomplished conceptual thinker, but loves doing hands-on production work as well. Lauren’s work has received nearly 250 awards for creativity from pres­tigious organizations, including the Art Directors Clubs of New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Jose, the American Center for Design, American Advertising Association, Typographers International, American Institute of Graphic Arts, San Francisco Society of Communicating Arts, and Western Art Directors Club. 

His work has been featured in Communication Arts magazine, Critique magazine, Graphis Books, Calligraphy Review, Print magazine, Art Di­rection magazine, American Corporate Identity Books, Print Magazine Books, and others.
