Primary job responsibilities were taking customer orders and dispatching a fleet of 10-30 dump trucks to various residential and commercial jobs in the area. A high level of multitasking was involved during 10-12+ hour work days, 5-6 days a week. While dispatching and taking orders also ran load-out scales for the quarry, during a 1-million ton year. Phone responsibilities included taking orders, putting together job quotes, customer education on products, conducting site-specific safety training, creating and processing trucker invoices, completing production reports for the plant, and accepting account payments for Material Sales. My time in this position also involved training other new dispatchers.
