I am a detail-oriented and motivated accounting graduate seeking to leverage my educational background and analytical skills to contribute to an organization’s financial success. I learned the importance of effective communication, dedication, and teamwork through my time as a U.S. Navy service member, and I am looking to get back into the workforce after taking time off to continue my education and care for my son with special needs.

Throughout my coursework, I have gained a solid understanding of accounting principles, including managerial accounting, federal taxation, and auditing. My studies have been complemented by a micro-credential in business and accounting, which has further equipped me with analytical skills essential for success in the field. In addition to my academic qualifications, my experience as a Life Customer Service Assistant at State Farm Insurance Company has reinforced my customer service abilities and attention to detail. I successfully managed customer inquiries with a 98% phone call quality rating, showcasing my commitment to excellent service. Furthermore, my role at the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier honed my organizational skills and taught me the importance of accuracy in record-keeping and service delivery. As a former U.S. Navy service member, I have developed a strong work ethic and effective communication skills, which I believe are crucial for fostering teamwork and collaboration in any workplace. After taking time off to care for my son with special needs while continuing my education, I am excited to re-enter the workforce and contribute my unique perspective and skills to the organization.
