Dear Hiring Manager at GRAEF, 

I am excited to hear about the open Graphic Design position at GRAEF. As a current Marketing & Communications Assistant at Visit Milwaukee and over 3 years of experience, I believe this job would offer a great opportunity to grow closer to my career goals. Even though I may not have as many years of experience as the next, I feel that I am motivated by that gap and always strive to grow at any opportunity given to me. I am not only creative but analytical as well. Both traits have strengthened my character and ability to look at things from a unique perspective

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and earned my bachelor’s degree in both Journalism, Advertising & Media Studies, and Women’s and Gender studies. I have always been diligent in my educational path and have earned both the Dean’s honors list and Commencement honors at graduation. These two degrees have greatly expanded my knowledge of people and creativity. Knowing my way around the Adobe Suites has been a fundamental skill that I have learned since the beginning of my artistic education. 

During college I was the Content Creator for the Women’s Resource Center, I managed all social media and center branding for the WRC. I was also a Marketing associate at the downtown video production agency, Plum Media. From my many experiences, I have a strong understanding of brand image, social media trends, and how to reach target audiences. After doing my research about GRAEF, I feel that I have the energy and growth mindset of someone who would fit well within this company I have high energy and bring passion to my personal and professional interests. 

I have so many big ideas to bring to the table for this company and I look forward to the potential of sharing my creativity.
