Kylie DeFeo

Hello! My name is Kylie DeFeo, I'm a recent graduate of the University of New England (UNE) with a Bachelor's of Science in Data Science. After graduation I had the opportunity to travel to Kenya as a part of a UNE Travel Course: Environment, Health & Community Development in East Africa with my Professor, Richard Peterson.  I then had the privilege to go back to Kenya from October - December to intern with the South Rift Association of Land Owners - a Maasai-owned community based conservation organization. I really enjoyed working for a community based organization, and fell in love with the East African culture I had been exposed to. I know basic Kiswahili and Spanish, though I am working to improve my language skills in both. I look forward to exploring opportunities in the world of conservation technology.
