About Kyle Jones:
Kyle is an accomplished opera singer and pianist/organist with over 25 years of experience as an educator, performer, composer/orchestrator, church music director, conductor, and choral clinician. Kyle studied voice with Metropolitan Opera tenors and performed dozens of mainstage roles in opera and Broadway productions as well as a frequent soloist for oratorio works with orchestras throughout the southeastern U.S.
Kyle has taught piano and voice for over 20 years and has prepared several students for National Piano Guild Auditions. He is proficient in a variety of styles: classical, broadway, jazz/blues. Kyle's primary goal in teaching is to prepare students for a life-long enjoyment of music-making while also contributing to their personal, intellectual, and creative development. His teaching style encourages students to have confidence in their musical abilities and to celebrate their accomplishments. He enjoys teaching students of all ages and strives to help them gain the knowledge to understand music, the ability to read and interpret the score, and the technical facilities that allow the expression of their musical ideas.
