Kurtis Hoffmann

I've worked in marketing for over four years professionally. Plus, local sports marketing during high school. In my previous positions, I was recognized by co-workers, clients, and vendors as an enthusiastic and creative contributor who always steps up to take on additional responsibility. My skills in event planning, branding, sales communications, channel marketing, public relations, continuous improvement, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and leading teams would be helpful for any marketing position. My favorite type of marketing work is event marketing and promoting a business or service to others at trade shows, conventions, sporting events, recruiting events, or other events. 

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. Being involved in the local community is important to me. I like to help others when I can. Spending time in the country is fun, especially riding ATVs, boating, hiking, yard games, and sitting around a bonfire.

I gained valuable experiences during my time as the UW Oshkosh President of the Marketing and Sales Club. I sold customized media sponsorships to companies interested in promoting their brands at our events. We hosted events where students had the opportunity to learn from regional marketing and sales professionals. My role oversaw the creation of email, web, social media, and print marketing communications for the club from strategy to execution. 

I led multiple trade show booth groups for Oshkosh Corporation throughout the 2019 EAA AirVenture event. I also led a public relations event at the 2019 Packers Family Night Game. Our team planned a new product reveal for the Oshkosh® S-Series™ Front Discharge Mixer. These experiences would help me lead cross-functional teams on multi-faceted projects within many organizations. I also developed marketing materials for press releases, social media, company presentations, and public events.

At Faith Technologies Incorporated, I led event planning on over 15 events each year that represented the company in multiple areas including, business development, brand awareness, industry expertise, charity functions, and recruiting events. I was also responsible for managing our company business listings, planning employee photoshoots, and creating analytics reports on our digital platforms. These experiences would transition well to other marketing roles.

What I pride myself on is my work ethic. In college, I was working multiple jobs to pay off school before graduating. In each of my marketing positions, I’ve been one of the brand ambassadors and have found extra ways to help promote the organization. This includes volunteering my time to promote the organization at recruiting events. If given the opportunity, we’ll create memorable event experiences and exceed company goals together.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration while majoring in Marketing. I had emphases in digital marketing and sales. During my time there I had the opportunity to be the president of a club related to my major which was very inciteful and created a lot of networking opportunities. Several of my classes had me completing projects on marketing campaigns that have helped me in my professional marketing roles.
