I have experience in the environmental field, working in forests, deserts and riparian areas monitoring construction for hazards to the environment and ecosystem. I have experience making maps and aquiring data for ArcGIS, as well as operating equipment for gathering data on the wellbeing of species. I have been on many surveys for endangered species such as the desert tortoise and Least Bell's Vireo, and have handled wildlife that have made their way into construction zones. I have branched out into the trades, working as a carpenter, truck driver, forklift operator and roofer. I have always been good at working with my hands, being a blacksmith and at-home carpenter and found myself good at hard labor.
Experience
I have worked as a lifeguard at Legoland for 2 years, in unloading and receiving at Lowes for 8 months, as a field biologist for 2 years, a caregiver for 2 months, a carpenter for 3 months and a roofer for 4 months.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from Cal State San Marcos
Began a Master's Degree in Forest Disturbance Ecology at Cal Poly Humboldt.
