Kristie Briseno

Currently, at Oakland Military Institute (OMI) College Preparatory Academy, I am the Student Information System Manager. I have proven to be reliable, professional, and proficient. I am very passionate about being of service to others and providing them with a positive experience. I take pride in my work and hold myself accountable for the quality of everything I do. I hold myself and others to a high standard. I am someone who demonstrates emotional intelligence and considers others when making a decision. I truly believe that we can be better as a team than as individuals.

I am the Student Information System Manager at Oakland Military Institute (OMI) College Preparatory Academy. I have 6+ years of experience in the education field. During my time at OMI I have successfully onboarded over 20 staff members ensuring that they pay explicit attention to policies and procedures. I have the ability to perform the major administrative assistant duties and train others in how to perform this role effectively. I have spearheaded the effort to “go digital” for almost all planning and paperwork, increasing office efficiency while also saving the organization expenses. As a confidential employee I have maintained utmost discretion when dealing with sensitive topics.

I am currently a student at CSU East Bay and expect to graduate in May of 2024. I have a certificate of proficiency in medical interpreting and child development as an assistant teacher.
