Dr Kinjal Desai is a Neurointensivist, Vascular & General Neurologist, who completed his Fellowship training in Neurocritical Care at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He received his MBBS from Smt NHL Municipal Medical College in 2005 from India, followed by a Master’s Degree in Public Health (Major in Epidemiology & Biostatistics) from University of Southern Mississippi in 2008. He has had extensive Clinical Research experience in the field of Neurosurgery & Neurocritical Care at a Level 1 Trauma & Academic Medical Center. He completed Internal Medicine Internship & Adult Neurology Residency from University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2015. Dr Desai has multiple local & National posters, publications & conducted many educational talks. He is a reviewer of high impact journals like NEJM, JAMA & contributed significantly towards the growth of Neurocritical Care Society. Dr Desai has also won multiple research and education awards for his interest to teach medical students and residents alike. He practices Telemedicine for all types of Neurological Emergencies. He is an expert in all Vascular Neurology related and Emergent Neurocritical Care Conditions. He is Board Certified by ABPN (General Neurology) & is UCNS Board Certified Neurointensivist. He is also certified in ENLS (Emergency Neurological Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) & ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support). He is currently full time Neurologist with CLS Health in Webster, Texas and has been practicing in this area since 2017. He holds Adjunct Faculty position with University of Houston, College of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor with Department of Neurology at UTMB Health.
