My main job is law enforcement here in Detroit. When I moved here to Detroit I bought a rental property. I have been managing the tenants since I have been here. I love the management side of real estate and looking to manage a community of people. I enjoy providing housing and managing housing for people. I also participate in the affordable housing program. I don't believe that housing should cost an arm and a leg for a person and I'm happy I can offer an affordable housing option for people. I would love to jump head first into a career as a property manager. I am young and I really feel like I have so much to offer and ready to learn and develop in a career as a property manager.

• Meet with potential renters to show units, explain leasing terms and update potential renter on the pros of the location

• Ensure and schedule completion of annual unit inspections from the city or state participating programs. Update the unit accordingly in a timely manner.

• Keeping turnover by good property management skills and upkeep of the property itself 

• Develop and maintain report with government agencies that work with rental properties

• Tracking and managing documentation needed to properly operate a rental unit. Submitting paperwork in a timely manner to organizations requiring it.

• Managing and maintaining accurate tenant files 

• Keeping tenant files organized, properly maintained and secured.
